i've beenthinking about movies lately and have decided that everyone should see Dark Star this is a student film by Jon Carpenterand the dude who wrote alien3 and total recall. ii loved it and everyone that i know loved it but ass i see in the user comments not everyone loved it... i think that the thing to pay attention to here is STUDENT FILM but what ever cheack it out. i think it is even on DVD. Also one of my favorite bands Pinback got their name from the movie and sampled part of it.

Frida is coming to town in 2 weeks. nov. 8th i cant wait. i'm excited but there are actually other people excited too., people were asking about it all night at work. i hope we are so busy that i can't even stand it. that would be so nice. i miss when it was busy. i have 5 other diaries. but i havent even written in one of them. the other ones were for when i was having template problems. but i think that i'm actually going to do something wih them... maybe write fiction or something... maybe start my split personalities. who knows. i'm excited though.

do you think that the south park kenny character is a refrence it robo cop? in the scene that i am watching a character named kenny just got killed by a robot.... the first robot.

albert from twin peaks is in this movie too... i lovve albert.

i'm almost ready to renounce all pop culture. except for movies music and buffy. i know that doesnt cut out a lot of stuff but i was thinking about cutting out the more popular stuff... the really really popular songs and listening to more local independant small time bands and artists....

i just relized that as an employee at a movie theater my life revolves around pop culture... they are the ones that pay me and if they didnt exist i would be out of a job... also i ,if you boil it down, ultamitly work in advertising.... speaking of... dont you hate movie theaters that have ads tacked onto the beginning... its like, i already have product placement i dont need more right in front of me..... thank god for landmark... they don't do any of that shit.
